Neither, but seeing we have to write on one, I would
say anger. At best, anger could be described as being
enraged against someone or something for a specific
cause. It doesn’t necessarily have to cause emotional
pain – but also a release or even enjoyment. For it
to cause emotional pain, it depends on what you are
angry at. For instance, these things make me angry and
causes emotional pain:
- Someone bullying another person because they can
- People wasting their lives to sin, when salvation
is free
- Our societies ever becoming hedonistic
- You asking me this question, in this journal, to
pry into my emotional make-up
The anger stems from the fact of the situation, but
what causes the emotional pain is that it seems I can
do little about it. For instance, angry at the fact
that people choose to give their lives to sin and end
up in hell’s torment for eternity, when they could choose
salvation and avoid it. Feeling the emotional pain of
the situation because an innocent soul will be lost;
but also, it would “seems” I can do little to save the
6 billion people that occupy this planet. What further
angers me and causes emotional pain is that our societies
are becoming more hedonistic and idolatrous. This fosters
an atmosphere to further prevent the unsuspecting souls
from choosing salvation. It angers me for people are
being bullied into a lifestyle of sin, seemingly unknowingly.
Bullied by the T.V, Internet, Radio, Cable, DVD/VHS,
Fashions and all the fads and media spawned by THE bully
himself – satan. Just thinking about it makes me angry.
Why can’t humans be left to make a decision to life
eternal, rather than being dictated to by societal influences.
They were already subject to vanity, give them a break
and let them choose life. Something must be done and
those with the power should heed to 2 Chronicles 7:14,
“If my people who are called by my name will humble
themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from
their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and
will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
