“Me!” A task too complex for 500 words and much more descriptive for human comprehension. By no means am I ‘heady’ or conceited, but I think I was made by the greatest architect of all, GOD (Yah); his image do I reflect.

My age group falls between 19-30. My full name is Oneil Orlando Constantine McQuick. My last name is Scottish/Irish. My first name **also means champion, according to some.

Am I a champion? Let’s see…During my high school years and post secondary studies I was President and International delegate for Key Club, student councilor, class coordinator, Prefect, Debater, involved in theater productions, appearances on radio and other local media several times, high school basketball captain, national under 17 basketball team and others; receiving distinctions and awards.

Would you call a person with earthly achievements and a promising future a champion? Would you call a person who seems to have achievements, ‘name brand’ clothing, popularity, coherence, class and good looks to go with it, a champion?

Would a champion entertain malignant thoughts? Would a champion spend hours in a gym and before a mirror to be attractive to the opposite sex 24/7 (lack of ‘self-worth’)? Would a champion have chronic habits? Would a champion run from God?

Was I a champion? No! But I eventually did become one. How? I became ‘saved’ and found my purpose in life. You see, purpose is what defines me, or anyone for that matter. You are purpose and purpose is you. When a person doesn’t know his purpose, it will lead to abuse and misuse. If I didn’t know the purpose of a hundred dollar bill, I could use it instead of toilet paper when visiting the bathroom. I was alive but not living. For to be living is to be doing what you were created to do, that’s purpose.

How did I find my purpose, thus joy, peace, fulfillment and self-worth? I went straight to the manufacturer or the manufacturer came to me. One has to go to the manufacturer or an authorized agent to find out the use of a product. That manufacturer is God, through Jesus Christ. Yes I’m saved and happy about it.

My area of study is Graphics Technology. Why? God has graced all artists and me, with the ability to conceptualize: Meaning, to create things in the mind or visually “mind mapping.” That’s the reason artists are one of the most brilliant persons on earth; because for anything to be made or is created, it must first be articulated in the mind or thoughts. That’s cognition, where you get the word *pre-cognition. For instance, before God made anything that was made, he first had it planned or placed in his forethoughts. No wonder he could have said to a prophet in the bible,”before you were born I knew you.”

So who is greater, God who created humans or doctors who claim to perform surgery? Similarly, as an artist I would create a thing that was in my forethoughts, and then someone else with similar lines of ingenuity would manipulate it. For instance, a website given to a web programmer or a Photoshop poster given to a print shop. Nevertheless, I am the originator. Artists should never then be treated with disdain, for their thoughts help us navigate existence; God having given that ability, saved or unsaved. We can hardly do anything without an artist, everything is visually oriented and thus everything is created by an artist – books, instructional materials, computers, cars, bags, bottles, buildings, schools and the endless things that can be named. They all had to first start with an artist, hence, a creator; similar to how all existence was started by The Creator – God. Likewise, a writer acts in the same manner. Thoughts or “the never before” are put in writings; so great writers are really artists. I’m also a writer.

In concluding, being that I’m an artist who creates, I am therefore a creator like my creator. That’s the reason I said by no means am I descriptive by human comprehension, being the reflection of God, who is ‘far pass finding out.’

Because such a being with that ability can use your precognition as his own; you having no idea of it.
