Young and the unrefined
Bless God,
I hoped you had a good holiday. As
usual I am blessed. To God be the glory. YOUNG PEOPLE I
PRAY THAT YOU READ THIS ONE AND THAT IT BE READ TO AS
MANY YOUTH GATHERING AS POSSIBLE.
This study on suffering is far spent.
Hopefully this is the second to last letter on it. I
know that they are long; just start reading before
scrolling down. Hopefully it might just help you.
One of the main focus group for this
topic is the upcoming generation. For suffering seems
like an outlawed theory to us young people. It just
doesn't fits into, today's fast pace
and affluent western society. Why must I suffer,
was my plead. Suffering is for old people. I want
to be used by God, and is used by God, so
why should I suffer. Is that wrong? If I am blessed
then others can be blessed, no doubt. I have
wisdom, I am more educated than my former
generation so why should I suffer. I am not really doing
anything wrong so I shouldn't be suffering. I just
want to continue in salvation. I am young and
should be strong, why must I go through all this.
Why me Lord. As an EAC-M sister said, "Why not you?" It
is you the Lord choose to reflect his
glory. You are the "Head and not the
tail." You are special, anointed and totally
original. But guess what? You must be refined. How?
God said in Isaiah 48:10, "I have refined thee, but not
with silver: I have chosen thee in the furnace of
affliction." Notice the operative word CHOSEN. Many
are called but few ... Again, Why not you?
Today's
scriptures: (1) "It is good for
a man that he bear the yoke in his youth," Lam 3:27. (2)
"For what glory is it, when ye be buffeted for
your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye
do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently,
this is acceptable with God," I Peter 2:20.
I understand that the scripture say
young man I call upon you because you are strong. But
the bible also said, "Even the youths shall fail and be
weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they
that wait upon the Lord shall renew their
strenght."(Isaiah 40:30)
Hear this and hear it good. Don't be
fooled by the increased prosperity, there is a yoke to
bear. Lamentation 3:27 said that it is good for a
man to bear the yoke in his youth. When? When he is
young. The earlier you are the refined the earlier you
start exploding. Its quicker too, the less things to be
detox. Its like school. The younger you get your degree
the better. Bear it now and reap the successes later.
The three Hebrew boys who Nebucanezzar threw in the
fire were 17,18 and 19. Teenagers standing for God. Yet
after their expierence of the fire they were immediately
exalted to high ranking post with Daniel; best of all
God was glorified.
The immediate verse in Lam., verse 28
states, "He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because
he hath borne it upon him." Its a time when you wont
have many friends. You know what the Lort told
you or put in your heart. You know that
you're going to be a success, godly
achiever, musician, choir director, recording artist,
preacher, Evang., prophet, steward(giver), helper, an
endtime apostle and limitless in his glory. But in
this time people are going to talk about , set up,
put down, dog you, ignore , misunderstand,
don't use, call all sorts of name, think all manner
of garbage about you: to make it worst poverty struck,
not to mention sickness, anxiety, fear, doubt, torment,
depression, madness, social disorders and thoughts about
giving up, you might even tried. But the
verse said he sitteth alone and keep silent. Don't back
answer nobody or "cuss" them out. But hold on for they
that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. The
Lord allow this to happened to refined us, try us and
prove us. Prove to you that you are graced to be
stronger and more special than you think and what others
think of you. Limitless in potential. You CANNOT be
moved or duplicated. You are an original! God made you
unique! Praise him galour and count it all joy!
I know, I know the mail is long. But I
hope it was worth reading as the Lord led. Thanks again
and read todays poetry. One love!

1.Many a time have they afflicted me
from my youth, may israel now say:
2.Many a time have they afflicted me
from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against
me.
3.The plowers plowed upon my
back: they made long their furrows.
4.The Lord is righteous he has cut
asunder the cords of the wicked.
Grace be unto you.
