Praise
the Lord Everyone,
I must
say the last newsletter gave quite a stir to
many, but I'm persuaded that it was meant to be
issued and I do hope you all had a wonderful new
experience.
The
scriptures rightly declared, "Now unto him that
is able to keep you from falling, and to present
you faultless before the presence of his glory
with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our
Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and
power, both now and ever. Amen" (Jude 1:24-25).
This week I was exasperated by utter feelings of
insufficiency of praising God enough for what he
has done for me and is doing, just the excellent
knowledge of Jesus Christ alone makes me feel so
undeserving of his love, a simply thank you and
halleluiah doesn't seems to satisfy any more. I
keep asking what can I give to show you that I
care, what can I do to make you feel that I
appreciate you, I love you, want to be with you
and longing to hold you. God just be happy with
my praise!!!
I've
realized that it is a revelation of God that
pushes one to praise him more and more, because
when you realize how big God is, you'll realize
that you couldn't have done nothing to escape
shame, anguish, separation and utter banishment
for eternity. After a revelation of who God is
you'll see that the ministry you are undertaking
isn't because you love God or you want to do it
or you following "hard after him", but simply
because God is "in you both to will and to do of
his good pleasure" (Php 2:13). A revelation will
let you know that no one can come unto God
except he pulls him or her. By these revelations
you will realize how weak, pathetic and frail
you are, but a loving God through Jesus Christ
made you all powerful like him through being
born again: "Amazing love, oh what love shed
from above, God's love, arms outstretch reaching
from Lord, Oh what love!"
Just
thinking on salvation alone should make you head
over heels in love with Jesus. No wonder one
preacher said that the reason some folk are not
praising God is because they are not thinking.
Because when you think of the goodness of Jesus
and all he has done for you, you must praise
him!
THIS
ALONE CAN PROVE IT (from the
manuscript "The
Voice...")
The
reason why Jesus the Savior is called Emmanuel
is to separate him from previous saviors, in
that, he being a Savior wasn't another man but
the very God. Nehemiah 9:27 reads, "Therefore
thou deliveredst them into the hand of their
enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of
their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou
heardest them from heaven; and according to thy
manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who
saved them out of the hand of their
enemies"
If you
are familiar with the scenario of King David and
his rebellious son Absalom, you can see a clear
picture of how and why God became a savior.
Which is basically love! The text
reads,
"And, behold, Cushi came; and Cushi
said, Tidings, my lord the king: for the LORD
hath avenged thee this day of all them that rose
up against thee. And the king said unto Cushi,
Is the young man Absalom safe? And Cushi
answered, the enemies of my lord the king, and
all that rise against thee to do thee hurt, be
as that young man is. And the king was
much moved, and went up to the chamber over the
gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O
my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would
God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my
son!" (2 Sam 18:31-33)
Absalom, King
David's son, led a rebellion against him to
overthrow his Kingdom and crown himself King; of
course this was spawned by bad advice. In turn,
David and his army had to involuntarily fight
against his own son. But you see by the last
verse above that when he died David wasn't
pleased, even though Absalom wanted to kill him.
As was also expressed here, "And it was told
Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for
Absalom. And the victory that day was turned
into mourning unto all the people: for the
people heard say that day how the king was
grieved for his son. And the people gat them by
stealth that day into the city, as people being
ashamed steal away when they flee in battle. But
the king covered his face, and the king cried
with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O
Absalom, my son, my son!"(2
Sam19:1-4)
If it
were possible, loving David would have died for
his son, but of course the results would have
been horrendous. In fact, his exclamation was,
"O my son Absalom, my son, my son
Absalom! would God I had died for
thee!" What
love!
This
was a type and shadow of Jesus Christ or the
same exact instance with God and us. Because of
bad influence, spawned by the Devil, man is in
rebellion to God and being just, he has to
involuntary "take us out" as seen with Absalom.
But what David couldn't do, God did! In that, he
came and died for us, so that he might not kill
us as David's army killed Absalom. And, this
didn't have to be horrendous, because he is God
and he can lay down his life and take it up back
again; as he said in John 10:18!
On
these grounds, everyone that believes or
utilizes the true way of salvation (Acts 2:38)
will escape his just judgment for rebellion
spawned by Lucifer (Adam and Eve). So then, the
love that God has for us is portrayed in the
love David had for his son Absalom; but God took
it a step further and saved us. In that, to keep
us alive, even though we were in rebellion to
him, he died so that you and I might live. What
a glorious and loving God. This also proves that
Jesus is the very God and dismantles all theory
of a trinity.
WHO IS
THIS GOD
Remember how we
earlier defined God in the letter "Mark The Perfect
Man?"
We
said that "He is the 'I AM' - to whom past,
present and future are equally today! Who is ...
without beginning and without end, without
succession of days or change of conditions. He
is the Omniscient One, to whom all things are so
absolutely known that there can neither be
anything hidden from Him nor any increase of
knowledge or intelligence. He is the Omnipresent
One, so pervading all space and time with His
presence that it is only in an accommodated
sense that He can be said to be at any point of
time or place....
He is
the Immutable One, who changes not. His absolute
perfection at once forbids change for the worse,
which would be improvement and imply previous
imperfection, since perfection cannot be
improved. Such a unique and solitary Being must
have His own ways, both of thinking and doing.
He has
his own lexicon, using language in a unique
sense and defining his own terms; that he has
his own arithmetic and mathematics, not limited
to man's addition and multiplication tables; his
own calendar, reckoning time in his own fashion,
and dividing all duration into ages and
dispensations, to suit his eternal plan; that he
has his own annals and chronicles, writing up
history according to methods of His own, leaving
great gaps of silence, chasms of oblivion, where
he deems nothing worthy of record; that he has
his own grammar, using all the nice distinctions
of conjugation and declension, voice and mood,
tense and person, gender and number, with
discrimination and design. In a word, everything
about God and His methods shows that he lives on
a different plane from man [angels or any other
creature] and cannot be either restricted to
[their] notions or judged by [their] standards"
(World's Guide To Understanding The
Bible).
Therefore, this
great supreme being could have just killed us
and start over? But because of his love and
wisdom all this was surpassed and this also
shows us that he is in a class all by himself!
There
are so many mysteries and revelation I would
love to share with you that are just flooding my
soul, to prove to you that God immeasurably
loves you, but space would not allow. Let me
share this with you though, I've recently
purchased a headphone. One would say a headphone
with nothing to plug it into, why? Reason being,
while I go about my daily business I can't help
but feel like singing praises unto God
constantly. So in order to look 'decent' I put
it on as if I'm listening to some real soul
shaking gospel music. But the tunes are inside
me and that's what I'm plugged into. It's not
even me wanting so much to praise God, but his
spirit in me propels me to be in constant
worship. I don't know how else to put it,
really. But if you understand who God is and
what he is about, plus all that he has brought
you through and will carry you onto, you
wouldn't feel ashamed to praise God on a
constant basis, even in public.
"Lord
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to thee I give the
glory and honor for what you have done in my
life. I've realized that I have failed on many
occasions and your spirit keeps pulling me back
to you. What did I do to deserve this, I cannot
tell. But one thing I'm certain of is that I'm
GRATEFUL and APPRECIATE every moment of it.
Thank you for saving me, thank for setting me
free, thank you for life eternal, thank you,
thank you, thank you, thank you. My Yeshua Ha
Mashiah (Jesus the Messiah), My Lord and Savior,
My Prince and King, My Jehovah within! My Great
divine, My Alpha and Omega, My Balm in Gilead,
My all in all. In comparable, 'incontrastable',
indescribable, infallible! Without beginning,
without ending! All knowing, ever seeing,
omnipresent! Far pass finding out, without
succession of days, preceding time, controller
and ruler of all, love of my life, guide to my
feet, teacher, friend, brother, father! My Ra ha
Kodesh (Holy Spirit), My Sweet and smelling
savor, My Elohim in flesh...God I'm speechless!
Just be happy with my praise. Just know that I
appreciate what you have done for me. In name of
the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth I pray and say
Amen."
If
there were ever true significance behind the
theory of the pagan Holiday Valentines, this man
Jesus would be mine!
Have a
great week in the Lord and here is an audio
follow up sermon from Pastor E. McDonald

Praise!"
